Speaker: Greg Koukl
Greg started out thinking he was too smart to become a Christian and ended up giving his life for the defense of the Christian faith. A central theme of Greg's speaking and writing is that Christianity can compete in the marketplace of ideas when it's properly understood and properly articulated.
Speaker: Dr. Jerry Root
Dr. Jerry Root is an Associate Professor at Wheaton College where he teaches graduate courses in the MA in Evangelism and Leadership Program as well as courses in the undergraduate Christian Formation and Ministry Department. In addition, Jerry is a visiting professor at Biola University and Talbot Graduate School of Theology in La Mirada, California. He is also the Director of the Evangelism Initiative at Wheaton College and Associate Director of the Billy Graham Center Institute of Strategic Evangelism.
Music: Tim Timmons
Tim Timmons is a worship leader, songwriter, and artist based out of The Following Church in Laguna Hills, CA. His passion to invite people to respond to Jesus has inspired him to write such modern worship favorites as The Grateful, Child of God and Never Will.
Speaker: Matthew Cork
Matthew has been on staff at Friends Church Yorba Linda since 1991. He has served as its Lead Pastor since 2003. He has been a key part in transitioning a church in crisis to a church of transformation. Friends Church has three campuses in North Orange County and is doing extensive ministry around the corner and around the world.
Speaker: Richard Dahlstrom
Richard Dahlstrom grew up in Fresno and spent his honeymoon at Hume Lake 35 years ago with his wife Donna. They're parents of three grown children scattered between Seattle, Germany, and the Cascade mountains of Washington. He's been the Senior Pastor of Bethany Community Church in Seattle since 1995 (churchbcc.org), and is passionate about leading in a manner that equips people to be the presence of Christ in real and life giving ways.
Music: Dominic Nuncio
Dominic is a gifted musician with a desire to bring a fresh sound and heart to worship. He has lead worship at Hume's Ponderosa Camp, San Diego Camp as well as a myriad of churches, colleges, and conferences. He is currently leading worship at The Well in Fresno.

Take a ride through the trees on our 600 foot zipline over Meadow Ranch Pond. Meet at the Meadow Ranch Pond dock.

Fly Casting Instruction: Friday and Saturday 1:00 – 5:00 PM
Come to the Snack Shop Lawn Friday and Saturday for free fly casting instruction. All necessary equipment will be provided.

Meadow Ranch Ropes Course: Friday at 3:15 PM & 8:30 PM and Saturday at 1:15 PM & 3:15 PM

The housing will be assigned first-come, first-serve based on when you register. This reduced rate is based on multiple occupancy. Minimum of 6 people to a room is required in standard and deluxe rooms. Hume will assign roommates if needed.
This is the camp experience. Our Economy housing is made up of cabins and dorms, many of which have full bathrooms attached or are in room. The rest have bathrooms within walking distance. These accommodations are outfitted with a queen bed or bunk beds and sleep 5 to 10 people for groups. For Marriage Retreats, there will be one couple per room. Linens are not provided during Mens and Family Retreats.
Not looking for the camp experience? Then upgrade to our Standard accommodations which include linens and have full bathrooms in the room. Larger than hotel rooms, these dorms can sleep 5 to 10 guests comfortably. For Marriage Retreats, there will be one couple per room.
Perhaps a hotel room is your idea of retreating... then our Deluxe Lodge rooms are for you. With amenities like a coffee maker, telephone, and a refrigerator in your room you won't feel like you're "roughing it" at all. Each room can sleep up to 4 guests comfortably. For Marriage Retreats, there will be one couple per room.
For those who do not need Hume housing for the retreat, but have instead arranged their own lodging at a privately-owned cabin in the area. Please note that RV parking and tent camping are not available on Hume property.
The purpose of meetings, seminars and activities at Hume Lake Christian Camps is to educate and inspire attendees with Biblical teaching and instruction. We also desire to follow government guidelines which require attendance at meetings for organized camps and educational organizations. Your participation at these meetings is necessary for us to accomplish these goals. Please plan to attend all meetings.
