Based on the success of our annual JWI Israel trip for students, and due to the continued demand from interested adults, we're partnering with GTI Tours for this year's Israel Biblical Study Tour.
This tour will bring scripture to life and forever change the way you read your Bible. After all, it's been said that there are 5 gospels—Mathew, Mark, Luke, John, and the land of Israel.

Trip Leader: Brad Bell
Brad is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary, and is currently the Senior Pastor of The Well Community Church in Fresno, California. He is a great communicator that brings the truth of God's word to motivate you to a heart of worship through the truth.

Trip Leader: Rich Ferreira
After graduating with his Masters in Theology from Talbot Seminary, Rich and his wife Becky began working full-time for Hume Ministries in 2001. Rich currently leads Hume's Joshua Wilderness Institute as Academic Dean where his discipleship and Bible teaching skills enrich the hearts and minds of his students. In his spare time, Rich enjoys international travel (especially Israel), motorcycle riding, off-roading and spending time with his wife, daughter Ellie and sons Jaron and Ronan.

$4295 double occupancy (you'll have a roommate)
$4890 single supplement (you'll get your own room)

Payment schedule:
- $400 per person deposit on confirmation
- $800 due March 16, 2012.
- $1200 due April 17, 2012.
- Total balance due May 17, 2012.
Refund Cancellation Policy:
- Full refund less $200 administrative fee for written cancellations received on or before March 16, 2012.
- Full refund less $800 for written cancelations received on or before April 17, 2012.
- Full refund less $1800 for written cancelations received on or before May 17, 2012.
- No refund for cancellations received after May 17, 2012.

Scripture Brought to Life
If you have every wanted to take your faith to the next level and invest in it in such a way that allows you to give back to others in your church and community then this trip is for you.
During our 10 days in Israel this study tour will dive into the text with the intent of making the scriptures become 3D. Through the pre-study material as well as the trip itself you will not only see the land of the Bible but understand the context in which it took place.
It has been said that there are five gospels; Mathew, Mark, Luke, John and the land of Israel. By walking through the land and experiencing it first hand you will never read the Bible the same way again.
Experienced Guides
Rich Ferreira is a graduate of Talbot Seminary and the director of the Joshua Wilderness Institute at Hume Lake Christian Camps. He has a desire to not only teach the Bible but help people truly experience it in its context. He has worked with GTI tours for several years and has lead 6 trips to Israel with JWI.
Brad is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary and is currently the senior pastor of The Well Community Church in Fresno, CA. He has a passion for the ministry and exposing the truths in the Word of God. He has also helped lead two Hume Lake Joshua Wilderness Institute trips to Israel.

What a treat to be able to experience Israel with my husband! It was so great to be side-by-side walking where Jesus walked. (And a little moral support on the tougher hikes was nice too.) So you’re thinking and hopefully praying about coming to Israel. I remember being right where you are too. Eric Simpson bugging me, telling me how much I needed to go! Should I go or not, it’s a lot of money, I’d have to get the time off, can it really make that much difference in my walk with God, will my Bible really come alive in living color, is it safe, will I get blown up? ( you know were all thinking that☺)
All my fears and questions were answered as I watched the sunrise on the Sea of Galilee! I was here, on a boat on the Sea of Galilee. The very place where Jesus had walked on water. The very place where Jesus had calmed the raging Sea. Remember Peter stepping out in faith to walk on the water to Jesus. He begins to sink and Jesus reaches out his hand, my bible has truly come alive in living color! Once you’re here all your fears and questions will be answered. You’ll have this sense that you’ve come Home. I really felt extremely safe and secure. So why did I wait so long to come? From the simplicity of the shepherd tending his flock to standing in Jerusalem The holy City, Gods living Word now has more meaning.
So is it time for you to step out of the boat? Come and see what God wants to show you! Come to Israel. An Adventure of a lifetime for a lifetime of Adventure!

Any trip to the Holy Land would be a treat in my book but the Hume Lake guys really made it the best in so many ways. I felt jealous for those who were not in our group. You learn not just the context, and geography of our Bible, but you learn about the loving greatness of our God. The spiritual impact cannot be overstated. As for all the logistics Hume / GTI nailed it. The details from the food, lodging, transportation and itinerary exceeded expectations. I wouldn’t be surprised if people went just for the food! Everything was fantastic. It is a true statement that the Bible really comes alive. I now have a new thirst for the history of our faith and its Jewish context that hasn’t stopped. It has been six months since arriving in Israel, but my enthusiasm is for it is just as high as any day we were there. I would recommend it to anyone who has the opportunity.
