Greetings from beautiful Hume Lake Christian Camps!

If you are like me, you receive a fair amount of junk email, even with the best filters. I find myself scanning the Inbox to see if there is something from my son, Nole, (currently deployed in Iraq), or from a friend, or someone on staff with a work question.

Because of your relationship to Hume Lake, and/or to me personally, I am hoping you will see this email as one from a friend. There are so many great stories happening at Hume, I would like to keep you informed of what is happening from week to week. I will personally write the emails and will attach photos of some of the great things happening on the hill, or with our off-site ministries.

This week I am on the road with our Executive Dinners, getting a chance to meet many of you in your own hometowns. Bob Phillips is in Costa Rica with our sister camp, La Montana, where they are dedicating the new Timothy Institute. The Timothy Institute is patterned after the Joshua Wilderness Institute, training up college-age students for 9 months. If you would like to learn more visit them at: http://www.lamontana.org/.
