Happy Monday!
Throughout February and March a small team of Hume staff takes to the road, traveling throughout California hosting our Executive Dinners. It is a great opportunity to see many of you, and share a bit of what is happening with the Hume ministry. My favorite part is not, however, seeing you; it is the weekends when I get to come home and see my family! (I know some of you may be dismayed.)
This weekend my youngest daughter, Erin, came in Saturday night after sitting in on the meeting for the weekend winter camp. I asked her who was speaking (something I should probably know), and she said, "Chris Simning." Chris has been a part of the Hume family for approximately 15 years and is now one of our best speakers (check out www.obscureministries.com). Erin then offered her perspective on what she saw, "Dad, it was insane. So many kids came forward to make decisions that they couldn't all fit on the stage."
At once I wished I could transport each of you to see a typical decision night at Hume Lake. It is a moving, highly spiritual event. This past Saturday night confirmed the very reason why we are out on the road, telling the story of a ministry that God has uniquely blessed. Thank you for being a part of it!
Oh, and just in case you haven't made it to one of our Executive Dinners, there is still time; and you can even sign up online. We are heading out today for the final four! Irvine, Long Beach, Garden Grove, and Fresno. I hope to see you there (even though you now know I'd rather be at home).
Serving Him,

Jeff Lilley
