Happy Monday!

Many of you have asked about the status of the possible "Hume East" property. For those not aware, Hume Lake has been exploring the idea of creating a Hume-style camp on the East Coast.

Recent conversations with the owner of an existing camp in Pennsylvania led to Hume submitting a proposal for possible purchase of the camp. It would have allowed us the ability to begin running camps of 500 to 800 campers as soon as 2006!

However, the owner has firmly settled on the price of $40 million. If any of you would like to buy it for us, please don't hesitate to call. In the meantime, we will continue to explore other options. We are content to wait on God's timing, yet still covet your prayers.

We have several large churches on the East Coast who are asking us to head their way, including Lon Solomon's church in Mclean, Virginia (www.mcleanbible.org). By the way, you can listen to Lon's sermons from this site as well!
