Happy Monday!
This last week our full-time staff was able to get away for a staff retreat. It is a bit like going to camp, except that we don't have to work or do KP! The timing is perfect. After a long, cold winter the staff is ready for a break, and it is a great time to be refreshed before the push into spring and the preparations for summer. The picture of our program staff to the right is another reason why our staff needs a break. Any guesses who colored the picture?
God continues to bless us with a tremendous staff. We have approximately 110 full-time staff, and with spouses, board members and their wives, we had around 190 join us on the retreat. We are in the final stages of hiring our summer staff, and if you know of any young people who may be available this summer, please contact us as soon as possible, or check out the employment information on our website.
If you have tried to get in touch with us last week, this may explain our delay in getting back to you. While we were gone, a small team of past staff came on the hill to take care of the camp. We came back to more snow, and the signs of lots of rain (at one point the water was all the way up to the footbridge near the lake). I believe we are officially out of drought conditions; it is snowing even as I write this.
Kept,
