Happy Monday!

We just finished a great couple of Fishermen's Conferences over the last two weekends. (Unless, of course, you were a fish!) About half of the men don't fish at all, and at least half of the men don't shave at all for the entire weekend. This scares my daughters, but is otherwise a very fun weekend. On Saturday night about 20-25 men gave their life to Christ, and an even larger number indicated their desire to surrender their life back into God's hands.

At one point a pastor came up to me and said, "This is my first Hume adult camp I have ever been to," (he used to be a youth pastor and brought his youth group for many years), "I was totally unaware that Hume ran such great programs for adults." While that is a great comment, meant as a compliment, it is also a challenge to us to tell our story a bit better than we have.

So, for what it is worth: We are not just a great youth camp. We also run some really great adult programs, too! (There, I feel better now.)

P.S. Last week I intended to send you a picture of sheep in San Francisco. But I have some very talented and protective staff who did not want to reveal the full nature of our summer theme. As a result, they pulled my pictures and exchanged them with the ones you received. I still hope this email will always offer you a little something extra, so, I have overpowered my very talented and protective staff, and asked them to include at least one of the pictures. Enjoy!
