Happy Monday!

Summer is here! Yesterday the buses pulled in, followed by more buses, which, when once unloaded, where replaced by more buses. It has never been our intention to minister to buses. But, just like Christmas presents, it is what's inside that calls to us.

As the students began filling the camps, I grabbed my camera and went to take pictures. I showed up at the high school dinning hall just after nearly 1,000 campers had consumed over 4,399 slices of pizza! (You can see the 4,400th on the floor next to the counter.) I then went outside to the lake and found campers already relaxing and enjoying God's grandeur. They seemed OK with being at Hume. (This picture will be my screen saver for the rest of the week!)

I then went to the Ponderosa opener with a couple of our key staff. We sat right in the middle of the students to experience the program just the way the campers do. (That is Eric Simpson on the left, Darin McWatters in the middle, and I am the funny looking one to the right. I didn't quite get the names of all the others in the photo.) What a blast!

Having fun, wish you were here, and coveting your prayers.
