Happy Monday!
I was first introduced to Hume Lake Christian Camps by my parents who sent me to Wagon Train (presumably to get all the kids out of the house for at least a week). Bob Phillips was the Wagon Master and he and his staff captured me with their funny skits, stories, chalk talks, and engaging illustrations. I loved it all; sleeping in the wagons, running through the woods, playing night games, and not having to brush my teeth.
But all that fun had a purpose. Over the last couple of weeks, several Wagon Train campers have shared on video what their experience has meant to them. God is still using unique events to capture the hearts of these young kids. Watch the video
I've attached several pictures of the new fort in Wagon Train, and of kids just having fun. If you or your children attended Wagon Train, please send a quick story, favorite memory, or even a picture to encourage the Wagon Train staff that they are making a difference: kstrawbridge@humelake.org
