Happy Tuesday,

Two weeks ago we held our first "Made" Conference; a conference designed specifically for high school girls, to help them discover who they are in Christ.  I received several emails talking about the impact of the conference; one from a dad who made the trip as a mule for his daughter.

"My daughter and about 6 other girls from our church went to the High School Girls camp at Hume over the Week-end. They had a great time. I hauled luggage down on Sunday, and they talked the whole time about it. We listened to the CD of the lady that sang for them, and I have to say I was somewhat surprised at the music. It was quite different from what [she] and her friends usually listen to. They loved it.  They also loved the seminars they went to."

Now, I don't know what music his daughter listens to, but, having kids, I can guess.  The point isn't music, the point is that when God grabs our hearts, He changes many parts of our life, often opening our eyes to new qualities and truths.  Though Hume will always be about changing lives, we are thinking of marketing ourselves as one of the few places on the planet where you can change your kid's music as well!

The last picture is of the painting class that the girls enjoyed.

Kept,
