Happy Monday!

We recently had a team return from running Hume camps in Thailand. Hume doesn't own a camp in Thailand, but we rent a "resort" and run camps out of the resort. This year we had campers come from China, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand. We had about 150 for our junior high camp and over 240 for our high school camp.

One cool story (out of many): When the team arrived at the airport to fly home, they were met by parents of one of the campers. The parents didn't know when the Hume team was flying out, so they had been waiting for two hours just to catch them at the airport. There, through tears, they told of how their son had come back so transformed that they wanted to say "thank you!"

They handed our staff a note of appreciation from their son, and discretely handed them $100 to buy the team lunch. As our staff tried to give it back they said, "We are grateful parents and this is the least we can do."

We were so struck by their comment that we are now asking everyone who has ever had their life impacted by Hume to buy us lunch!

(I'm kidding!)

Well fed,
