Happy Monday!

I intended to write about snow-blowing at Hume; about how, with the lack of snow we make our own; about how loud the snow guns are when you force chilled, compressed air through a narrow nozzle, adding water, running the guns late at night just outside my bedroom window.

But then something happened.  God made His own snow.  But His was quiet, silent, and far more effective!  (Like most things He does.)  We woke up yesterday morning with more snow covering more places than all of the best ski resorts in the world could possibly blow.  All while we slept.

Just in time for Christmas, but I didn't want to rub that fact in.  You may not have snow where you live.  It might be 65 degrees, and it doesn't even feel like Christmas; but I didn't want to rub that in.  You might have crazy traffic and mad shoppers everywhere racing to . . . .  Oh, never mind.  It's quiet and beautiful here.

All of us here at Hume Lake Christian Camps wish the very best Christmas ever!  Remember to read the Christmas story, and reflect on why we are celebrating.  It's not about the snow.

Kept,
