Happy Tuesday!

Another great weekend, over 900 high school students and fresh snow!  But today I wanted to let you know of some changes at the Lake.

As of January 1st, we have asked Mike Drake (our Operations Director) to step into the role of Assistant Director, to handle more of the day-to-day responsibilities.  This will allow me more time to develop the strategic direction for Hume's new and future programs as we continue to expand and reach even more lives. 

We have also made some significant changes in our Program staff leadership as well!  Johnie Moore is still our Program Director, but Cliff Carey (our Youth Ministries Manager) is now our O & I Manager (offsite & international).  And Darin McWatters (our director over the Joshua Wilderness Institute) is our new Youth Ministries Manager.

But wait!  That's not all!  You also get:  A new Adult Ministries Manager with Brian Downs (previously overseeing our video department).  Brian will be working directly with Eric (Eroc!) Simpson, who will still be doing all of our adult conferences, but we will be calling him the Creative Ministries Manager (we will probably calling him other things as well, but I can't say those things here). 

We are thrilled by each of these moves as it prepares Hume for launching into some exciting new ministry opportunities!
