Happy Tuesday!
Another day at Hume, another great story of how God works! One of our Youth Ministry staff (Jay Johnson) just sent me this from one of our youth pastors:
On our bus ride home, about 20 minutes from home, I walked our bus to make sure everyone had called for their ride, and started picking up trash and their stuff. Chet, one of our staff members took my seat while I was up and when I got back to the front I had to sit in his seat about 1/3 of the way back. I started talking to Miguel one of our new students - he was sitting behind me at this point. He said he had misunderstood Dan's call on Sunday night and so he hadn't stayed behind but that what Dan had been saying had sunk in and that he meant to make a commitment to Christ. I walked him through the basics of the gospel and on the bridge just outside of our city (5 minutes from home, the end of camp) I prayed with him and he accepted Christ (call it a 24 hour labor I guess). Pretty sweet way to roll into the church parking lot.
I leave it at "Pretty sweet",
