Happy Monday!

Some of you have wondered, "Have I fallen off Hume's email update list?" No. Jeff has fallen off the discipline of writing them. I have always intended this email to be a legitimate email, and not just "fluff" in your box every Monday, simply because it was Monday. Those are the type of emails I delete. I also wanted to insure that they were written by me, and not some faceless copy writer typing away in a cubicle somewhere in India. What a great decision!

I have been busy. (That's for the board members who happen to get this email.) There has been quite a bit happening at and around Hume. We just finished our two Fishermen's conferences with one of the weekends being our biggest ever on record--855 men! None of them shaving, and only a few showering. What a great time!

The best part, though, is not the fish that are netted, but the souls. The first weekend several men gave their life to Christ, one, a Jewish gentleman, received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized in the lake the next day--the same lake filled with melting snow and ice! What a great symbol of commitment!

By the way, I was only kidding about the shaving.

Kept,
