Happy Wednesday!
Kajabi Kan-kan with palm trees! That was my first thought when I saw our newest camps in action in San Diego. We just finished two weeks of about 1,000 students on Point Loma Nazarene University's campus, while at the same time we are running nearly 2,000 students up at the Lake! Summer is here!
As Summer at the Lake is in full swing, a team of some of our top staff launched two weeks of camp on the Pacific. One young man mentioned to Jay Johnson, one of our staff, "I just love this place!"
Jay: "Which place?"
Young man: "Hume Lake!"
Jay: "Do you realize that you aren't at Hume Lake?"
Young man: "Oh yeah! That's why I love Hume Lake!"
Can anything good come from San Diego? On Tuesday night I watched nearly 30 high school students walk down the aisle to surrender their life to Jesus Christ.
That is something good!
