Happy Tuesday!

Every week at Hume we make a clear presentation of the Gospel, and ask if people would like to respond. They do. What follows is just a few of the comments we've recently received from outdoor education and winter camps (I can't include them all).

Some receive Christ:

• "I'm so lost I don't know where to go."
• "I've finally accepted the fact that Christ loves me! I've failed and fought against him my entire life."
• "Hume is an awesome camp that let me get so close to God and let him into my life!"
• "I am just so ready!"
• "I really don't know what to put here. I received Christ tonight."
• "I accepted Christ because I needed someone to believe in; someone to make it all better; the someone who saved me."

Some want to deal with sin:

• "I need to stop allowing sin to take over bits of my life. I need to help myself so I can help others."
• "Focus on God, not on self. Stop w/ the stupid, selfish impulses."
• "I was tired of hurting myself with sin. I wanted to feel pure."
• "I've been doing too much stuff that wasn't of God and just wanted to drop my ways and start over. I LOVE GOD."
• "I want to stop doing these terrible sins of lust and disgustingness."

Some want to rededicate their life to Christ:

• "I am a pastor's son... It's been 5 years since the last time I was in love with God."
• "I'm so glad I came here. All my tears! [He] completely cleansed my whole soul. I seriously needed to be reunited with my Lord."
• "I want to reconnect to the God I once knew."

Some want to change the world:

• "I have a new mission: to bring the Lord into my friend's heart (my best friend) and I know I can't do it until I am sure that the Lord is in mine; so my life would reflect on His."
• "I need to live out what I believe at home."

And of course the standard "Hume is great!"

• "This is the best camp I have ever been to!"
• "This camp is AWESOME!!! It helped me find Jesus in my heart."
• "The food's good; the water's good; and especially, the message is good."
• "The people here are beyond nice."
• "Thank you!"

Wish you could read them all! God has His hand on this place and it is a pleasure to be a part of what He is doing. Thank you for your part!
