Happy Tuesday! I don't start the day thinking, "How has God used Hume Lake today?" It is more of an issue of faith, believing that God will use Hume today. I don't get to hear all that He is doing, or has done. But this weekend I received an email from a friend who runs a large camp in Canada. Someone sent him a list of the ways God is moving all over the globe, and it included this as proof: "Last Sunday at Hume Lake, California, 18 couples responded to an altar call to rededicate their lives and marriages to GOD. It was such a thrill to see the front full with couples praying together. Afterwards, a pastor came to me and said that four couples of his church went forward and 2 of these had marriages that were far gone. He said these BOTH were complete miracles." The report didn't come from us, but from someone at the conference. It was true, and it is true. It was true that this happened, and it is true that God is moving. Hume was just one illustration on the list, and that illustration is just one weekend. For today, in Canada at least, Hume is known as a place where God is moving.
