Hume Lake Christian Camps - Week In Review

Happy Tuesday!

Hume updates are a bit different this time of year. It’s quiet. I took a week off for a family vacation to Nipomo (vacation capital of the San Joaquin Valley). At Hume, all summer long, people come for vacation; and they vacation right in front of us! They lay out beach towels, go boating, drink milk shakes, and laugh and play week after week.

Now the tables are turned. While we were having so much fun, you, I’m sure, were at work. It was probably foggy and cold where you were. The traffic was probably terrible. But we slept in. We ate too much food. We laid out beach towels, paddled about Morro Bay, had mochas, and laughed and played day after day.

That’s Edward tumbling down the sand dunes, with Erin in the background enjoying the fact that cell phones have coverage! While beachcombing, I found the rock with sand; don’t you think it looks exactly like me? It is the simple things. Just know that while we were having fun, we weren’t wishing you were there. Well, maybe some of you….

Kept (even when away from Hume),
