Vision Dinners

Vision Dinners

One month . . . 14 communities from Lodi to San Diego and points in between . . . nearly 1,200 members of the Hume ministry family . . . countless bites of chicken and cheesecake.

The annual Vision Dinner tour is Hume’s opportunity to gather ministry partners for food, fellowship and sharing the ministry.  It also raises critical financial resources to support the ministry of Hume Lake Christian Camps.  This year’s pledges totaled over $600,000, comparable to last year and a great blessing in a down economy.

Executive Director Bob Phillips shared the theme, “Strengthening Our Foundation.”  As Bob reported, the spiritual foundation of Hume remains strong:  presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ with clarity, courage and consistency.  Lives continue to be transformed through the ministry of Hume Lake Christian Camps.

At the same time, Hume’s physical foundation needs attention and is the focus of this year’s fundraising efforts.  Bob shared a number of projects designed to strengthen Hume’s infrastructure, necessary in the continued effort to reach campers with the Gospel.

If you were unable to attend this year’s Vision Dinner but would like to receive the DVD, project brochure and pledge card, please contact Jocey Rogalski at 559.305.7625 or    jrogalski@humelake.org   .
