WHY CAMPING?
Because it’s among your best ministry options for winning young people to Christ.

WHY HUME NEW ENGLAND CHRISTIAN CAMP?
Because we give your youth group epic, unforgettable camping experiences that reinforce your own ministry.

WHAT’S THE BOTTOM LINE?
We focus on the details so you can focus on your students.

Clear Gospel Message

Clear Gospel Message

Hume New England guest speakers know kids and teens as well as their Bibles. They unwrap and animate God’s truth in ways that connect with your students.

Your group will hear the Gospel of Jesus in chapels and talks, then wrestle with it in seminars, breakouts, and all those unscripted moments between you and your students that a Hume New England camping experience delivers.

Dynamic Worship

Dynamic Worship

Hume New England nurtures the attitude of worship in all that we do. While we enjoy seeing students have fun, our true joy is leading each one to seek God in every aspect of their life.

Activity wrap-ups, personal quiet times, small-group prayer, and early morning sunrise worship are a few of the times we’ve set aside for you and your students to reflect on the holiness of God and to give Him glory.

Our musicians are selected for their giftedness in bringing students into the presence of the Lord.

Recreation

Recreation

For an hour a day, we let kids be kids. We call it recreation. The high-energy, innovative games at Hume New England give campers an outlet for their energy, while providing counselors a chance to encourage team-building and leadership skills.

Game winning teams are awarded points throughout the week, and on Spirit Day themed costumes multiply your points to give your team the cutting edge!

While all campers receive a free &ldquot;Rec&rdquot; shirt, only the winning team gets the coveted “Champion” shirt.

Theme

Theme

The theme is a creative and practical link between the fun, entertaining aspects of camp and our presentation of the Gospel.

While we believe that the theme is a critical part of the camp experience, it is our desire that by the end of the week it becomes background to the Biblical truths taught throughout the week.

The live drama productions, recreation team names, and Spirit Day, are some of the programming elements we use to capture campers’ attention, win their trust, and direct their focus to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Local Ministry

Theme

We run camp in order to give youth workers freedom to do what they do best—relate to students, listen, offer love and guidance. We free them up from the myriad of details required for a successful, memorable camping experience—the programming, lodging, meals, recreation, speakers, and music so they can minister to students.

After all, when Jesus left this planet, he left behind a church, not a camp.

Matt is a graduate of Talbot Theological Seminary and lives in the "OC" in Southern California with his beautiful wife Marilee, and their three kids, Noah (6), Jed (4) and Karis (1).
