Theme

2011 Theme is in the works and will be unveiled around the first of the year.

2010 Theme

We live in a self-centered culture with an attitude of entitlement. From the decisions we make to the things we say, our lives reflect an abundance of "me." This "me-centered culture" is in opposition to II Corinthians 5:14-15 which says: "For Christ's love compels us, for we are convinced that one died for all therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died for them and was raised again."

This summer we will address the "me-centered culture" of today's youth by challenging students to understand that we were bought with a price by the death of Christ and the life we live belongs to Him. We are called daily to selflessly submit to Christ. We are called to excuse ourselves out of the way so that God gets the glory. This summer we will learn what it means to Excusez-Mwa!?...

Band

2010 Band

Hank is a worship leader from Louisville, Georgia. He met Jesus when he was 12, and when he was 17, he realized that true life is all about Jesus, His renown, and making God smile. Shortly afterwards, he felt God's call to ministry through music and has been a worship leader ever since. He finished his first acoustic album, "What If," in 2007, and has gone on to form the Hank Murphy Band who released their first acoustic EP, "The Offering" in 2009. During the Spring of 2010 the band finished recording their first full band EP entitled "For All to Sing," which is scheduled to be released in August 2010.

Hank Murphy Band

The Hank Murphy Band is made up of Hank, Matt, Hillary, and Chris who met at Valdosta State University in 2007. HMB formed prior to their 2009 release of the acoustic EP entitled "The Offering." Since this release in January of 2009 the young band has had the privilege of leading worship and connecting people with the heart of God all over the world. HMB serves at CrossPointe Church (www.crosspointechurch.cc) as well as with No Regrets Ministries (www.nrministries.com). Whether traveling as far as Thailand or as close as their own backyard of Valdosta, Georgia, one thing is for sure: HMB lives to make Jesus famous wherever God takes them.

"And when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself.”

-Jesus, John 12:32
