Junior High Summer Camp: Meadow Ranch
Overview
“To the Meadow!!” Meadow Ranch is a phenomenal place for junior high students to get away from the everyday distractions and into the quietness the Meadow has to offer and learn more about who God is. From outdoor activities, energetic recreation, silly skits and suspenseful night games, to exceptional speakers, inspiring dramas and impactful worship, your time at Hume will make you want to come back for more! The relevant programming and passionate staff will help ensure your time in the Meadow will be life changing.

Speaker: Mike Smith
Mike is currently the Pastor of Junior High and College ministry at Atascadero Bible Church. His youth ministry experience began in 1997. Mike's unique gifting has placed him at ABC to do Junior High and College Ministry. Mike is a gifted and passionate communicator, able to speak effectively to children through adults. He is committed to Biblical teaching and loves ministry to students.

Speaker: Chris Nicely
Chris is the Middle School Pastor at Shepherd of the Hills Church in Porter Ranch, California. He has been working with students & their parents since 2003 and wouldn't trade it for the world. He is supported and spoiled by his beautiful wife, Rebecca, and his little girl, Eden Grace. A random fun fact about Chris- while growing up his nick name was 'BoBo' but don't tell anyone it is our little secret!

Speaker: Jeff Gokee
Jeff Gokee is the Executive Director of PhoenixONE which is is a collaborative outreach service of local churches to reach 20-30 somethings for Christ and connect them to a local faith community. He's also the Founder and President of Wallets for Water which strives to give people the opportunity to build wells in India. He speaks not only here in the states, but also around the world. Jeff's passion is to use embarrassing stories and relevant truths to communicate God's love and plan for our lives. Second to his love for the Lord is his wife Patti, Ben and Cooper.

Speaker: PJ Lewis
P.J. and his wife Sheri have been coming up to Hume since 1994. His ministry is one of faith. Only faith can make trusting disciples of Jesus and develop a real love for God and others. P.J. is currently teaching/counseling pastor at Hilltop Community Church in Carson City, NV.

Chris loves bringing the Bible to life with his gifts as a communicator and storyteller, but most evident in his teaching is his passion for sharing a real and authentic journey with Jesus.

Speaker: Ron Merrell
Ron Merrell has been in ministry for 15 years and is the College & Young Adults Pastor at Grace Baptist Church in Santa Clarita, CA. He combines his love for students who feel broken or lost with his background in comedy and comedy writing to uncompromisingly communicate the Bible. He's married to his best friend, Anna, and has two sons, Braddock and Brody.

Speaker: Adam Weatherby
Adam Weatherby is Pastor of Student Ministries at Atascadero Bible Church, he brings over 300 campers to Hume each summer. He holds degress from Bethany College and Liberty Theological Seminary. He brings a fresh perspective of the truth of God's word as he challenges you to walk according to the scripture.

Speaker: Phil Payne
Phil Payne and his wife, Elizabeth have worked for International Teams since 1998. They lived in Quito, Ecuador from 1999 until fall of 2010 when they moved up to Southern California. Phil continues to work for International Teams/Youth World from North America while his wife attends Talbot Seminary.

Camper $450
Counselor $199
No minimum group size required. Counselor to camper ratio of 1 to 8 is requested per gender. Price includes meals, lodging, program, highlight DVD, and recreation T-shirt. Extra activities are available at additional cost or deposit.
2012 Individual Pricing
Camper $495
Price includes counselor, meals, lodging, program, highlight DVD, and recreation T-shirt. Extra activities are available at additional cost or deposit.
What to bring
Bible, notebook, pencil, flashlight, sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, warm and cool clothes, jacket, modest one-piece swimsuit (no tankinis), $50 recommended spending money.
(Remember: Girls no bare midriffs or spaghetti straps; guys, no sagging.)
What not to bring
Drugs (unless prescribed by a doctor), alcohol, tobacco, fireworks, firearms, electronic devices.
Registration
Camp begins with registration at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday and concludes at 9:00 a.m. the following Saturday. Dinner on the first night is served at 6:00 p.m.
